Terms of use

Effective June 16, 2026.

Informational use only

EasementMap is an informational reference about U.S. easement law. It is not legal advice and does not create an attorney-client relationship. The content is general and may not reflect the most current law or apply to your specific facts. Always confirm with a licensed real-property attorney in your state before acting.

No warranty

We work hard to cite primary sources and to mark anything unverified as pending, but we provide the site “as is” without warranties of any kind. Statutes and case law change; a last-verified date tells you when a page was checked, not that it is current today.

Referrals

We connect you to licensed attorneys through free state-bar referral services and, where disclosed, through referral partnerships from which we may earn a fee. A referral fee never changes the price you pay or the attorney's obligation to you. We are an information hub, not a law firm.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EasementMap and its operator are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content. Your remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using the site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. EasementMap is published from Wilmington, Delaware.
